Abdication of the Throne
As World War I progressed on, Tsar Nicholas the II realized they were on the losing side. The country demanded victory in order to thrive in the world. The Russian people blamed the Tsar directly for their short comings in the war and he was force to resign from the throne. To keep the power in his family, he gives his brother Grand Duke Mikhail Alexandrovich the throne. Alexandrovich would share his ruling with the Legislative Institutions of the government.
